Aaarrghhh!

Did you know that September 19th is Talk like a Pirate Day? It is also Jack’s birthday. This year Jack turned 30, so I decided to throw a pirate birthday bash. Several friends came and we had a good time playing games and hanging out. The highlights were Mom’s Left-Right Pirate-Treasure-Pass game and the pirate cake. The invitation turned out pretty well too.

Fancy Fall Fun

This weekend, instead of staying at a hotel, Beth invited us to stay at her house.  We had such a nice time!  We talked about school and we talked about life.  We made pizza and we relaxed in the hot tub.  Ohhh, how nice.

Visit with Friends

We had a fun visit with Carla and her baby Everett. Carla was one of my bridesmaids and is one of my best friends. Her brother lives in Phoenix, so while she was in town, she came over for Sunday dinner. It was fun to meet her baby and to catch up.
