In Escrow!

Well, we did put an offer in on that house and the bank accepted it. Yeah! We met with our Realtor tonight and signed a million papers.

The house inspection is set for Saturday. We're anxious to find out what kind of shape things are in. Once that's over we'll know for sure whether we're going for it or still out on the hunt.

Possible House

We had a successful day with the realtor yesterday. We saw 6 houses and liked four of them. The last house we looked at is a little farther than we really wanted, but it has a bit more space for the price and has the option of fixing things up the way we'd like. We went back to look at this morning. I think we're going to put an offer in on it. : ) !!!!!!!

On the House Hunt.

Our lease is up on our apartment the end of march. With the housing market the way it is, we've decided to start looking for a house in the area. I'd like to find something with three beds, two baths, and a two-car garage. Jack would like double sinks in the master bathroom and a large kitchen (we're tired of the little galley kitchen). We're going out with the Realtor to look at some options on Monday.

Allergic!

Sometimes when I get anxious, stressed, or just hot, I get itchy and break out in a mild case of hives. It doesn't usually happen very often and has been happening for several years. So, it's really no big deal now. I can either take benedryl or not, but either way, I just have to wait for it to go away.
With school in full blown session, I've been having more of these episodes. I've been teasing Jack that it's him that I'm allergic to. We went out to lunch with his grandma and I showed her my hives. When she asked what caused it, I told her, "I'm allergic to Jack." : )
The other night when I was getting ready for bed, I got itchy and had a few hives around my knee. I told Jack, "See, I'm just allergic to you." He laughed as usual and then a few minutes later said, "Wait a minute! I haven't even touched you." This whole time he didn't know I was joking and actually thought that maybe he was causing my hives. I felt bad about the miscommunication and we laughed pretty hard.
