Lupita's Baptism

Lupita is our new nanny.  She is originally from Mexico and is in our Stake.  She has been waiting to find a job where she didn't have to work Sundays and where she could be content with her home environment.  Lupita moved in with us this month and will move into the studio apartment once Jenny's semester is up.  (Jenny is a business student renting the studio on the back of the house.)  Tonight we went to Lupita's baptism.  There were two others baptized as well.  It was nice.

Happy Valentine's Day

I loved these pizzas!  I want to make this an annual tradition. : )  Oh, yah...I love my Valentine too. Thanks, Jack, for planning such a fun dinner.  Next year Carmela might enjoy some pizza too.

Carmela's Blessing

Jack gave Carmela a name and a blessing today.  It was a beautiful blessing.  We had many family members join us.  Carmela wore the same blessing dress that Aunt Eileen made for me for my blessing.  Aunt Eileen made this white afghan for Carmela. Perfect for her blessing day.

It’s November and it’s still in the 90s.  Too hot for me.  I’m missing the crisp Autumn air and beautiful Fall colors of Philadelphia.  I’m officially in my third trimester now and starting to slow down.  Jack and I went in today to have our pictures taken.  We’re so looking forward to the baby coming… it’s getting hard to wait!
