My Favorite Snack

I call it "no-bake cookie melt":
2 Tbsp margarine
1/4 c peanut butter
1/2 c choc chips
  • Heat above 2 minutes in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
  • Add 1/2 c oatmeal
  • Stir, and enjoy by the spoonful!

Maybe add a dash of vanilla - it won't add any kcals!

That looks alot like peanut butter no bake cookies that my husband makes, only easier and A LOT less.

Did you develop this recipe yourself from the basic nobake cookie recipe? I'm afraid to try it because it looks too easy and good. You know 650, plus 650, plus650, well you get the idea can really add up. M:)

Yah, it's definitely not lo-cal. It is loosely based on the no-bake cookie recipe, but much quicker and a lot less work. I usually end up making it every month or so, when I just want some peanut butter and chocolate! : )
